Knoxville Quarry

Viva La Knox! I took this photo of a quarry lake near the downtown of Knoxville, Tennessee. The miners dug down & down until they hit the aquifer, and the whole thing filled up with water. I am told it is so deep there are cranes and heavy equipment lost forever at the bottom. Excellent place for cliff jumping.
