National – Runaway

This is a concept that was commissioned by National Runaway Safeline, an organization that helps to find lost youth. The concept here was to simplify communication using color & non threatening typography. The hand drawn typeface is called Summer, and a big thanks to my friends @ fontfabric.com for that one. The other typeface is Lora Sans, which is neutral yet open somehow. The color temperature through the site is meant to be uplifting and the images below are meant to be relatable. Written communication it self is greatly simplified. We don’t want a youth to think about asking for help then give up because information is hard to find and frustrating. The images also lead from scared to thoughtful to happy. I hope this will help a youth to relax a little moving down the page. I think this is great work & look forward to hearing the clients feedback.
