The End of Downbeat

Before I became a professional designer, or maybe during the time I was learning about design, I was a DJ. I spent 12 years playing records and performing in front of crowds of people. I love music & I love the creativity that DJing allows. I fell in love with it so deeply, that I became a promoter, and started organizing shows under my production label Downbeat. I ran 1 monthly event for 3 years in the same venue, which is actually a very long time for an electronic music event. Each month I would create a small 11×17 poster to promote the show. I would frame these each month and give 1 to each dj that performed. This was the last poster I made, and to me it is very special.
